Nepal Press Center Celebrates 21st Establishment Day, Honors Veteran Journalist in Simikot

The Nepal Press Center celebrated its 21st establishment day with great enthusiasm and pride on Tuesday. The event, held in the remote mountainous district of Humla, brought together journalists and media professionals from across the region.

As part of the occasion, the Nepal Press Center honored veteran journalist Mr. Hari Bahadur Rawat for his outstanding contribution to journalism. With over 30 years of service in the field, Mr. Rawat has been a pivotal figure in bringing the stories of remote areas like Humla to the forefront of national discourse.

The program, attended by numerous journalists from various media outlets, highlighted the critical role of the press in fostering communication, awareness, and development, especially in remote regions like Karnali Province.
